An Indian electrical engineer in Saudi Arabia and a Bangladeshi tailor in Oman received the same news last weekend. They lived hundreds of miles apart, with different jobs and different lives. Neither expected that an ordinary week would end this way. Their stories now join a growing list of 1.5 million global winners who have collectively shared $93 million in prizes since Emirates Draw launched. The numbers keep growing, the games keep going, and the winners keep coming.
For millions of people who have thought about playing but have not yet pressed the button, these stories are a reminder that every number represents a possibility, and every draw can bring another winner’s story.
Last week, it was Aligati Venu's and Mohammad Bappi's turns.
A Debt Cleared, a Better Future Achieved
Aligati left India for Saudi Arabia to build a better future for his family. He found Emirates Draw while browsing online, decided to try his luck, and kept playing for four months, holding on to hope without expecting a return.
On September 20, that hope paid off. Aligati won the $40,000 MEGA7 prize. He checked the results more than once before he believed it. Aligati was carrying great financial weight and the win finally got some relief.
What does he plan to do next? Clear his debts, then put the rest toward gold or land to improve his life and his family’s.
"This win has a positive impact on us to achieve our goal," Aligati said. His family could not express in words how happy they were.
A House, a Promise Kept
A few hundred miles away, a similar phone check was happening. Mohammad was on vacation in Bangladesh, taking a break from his job in Oman, when he found out he had won $6,250 in the EASY6 draw on September 19.
Mohammad had been playing for seven months, choosing his own random numbers. He had one goal in mind before the win; build a house and give his family more security. The win brought him a way to keep a promise he had been making to his family for years.
He was at his wife's house when the balance appeared in his account. He called his younger brother first to share the news, then told his wife. Both were overjoyed.
Winning confirmed something Mohammad already believed, that Emirates Draw changes lives and helps people reach dreams that felt impossible, like owning a home. So it was a ‘true blessing,’ he added.
Two men from two different countries worked hard, took a chance, and came within one number of the grand prize. They still had plenty to celebrate, and a future that now looks a little different.
The Prize Doubled
If two ordinary people walked away with meaningful wins, it makes you wonder what this week could bring.
This Sunday, the MEGA7 Grand Prize stands at $60 million, then it resets to $30 million. That means everyone who enters this week has a chance at a prize twice the size of any regular MEGA7 draw. Aligati and Mohammad did not know their random numbers would be the winning ones. Nobody ever does and that is exactly the point.
Enter before Sunday's 27 September MEGA7 Grand Prize draw at Emirates Draw. The only thing missing is a ticket with your own numbers on it.
